][ She’ll get you, my pretty…(and your little dog, too!) ][

This was before they shut the entire block (plus one more) down for the night when ghosts, goblins, a few Elevens, and some Transformers took over, among other creatures. Adam and I didn’t get a costume together in time (which has become a yearly tradition), so we just strolled the neighborhood where we stumbled upon a street that shuts down for Halloween each year and has for the last fifty (fifty years old!) It was so much fun that we might just be motivated enough to start prepping our costumes early for next year.

I took these photos around four this afternoon, but it was so much more chaotic and fun once the sun set. You can check out the scene on my Snapchat until tomorrow night (@iamkatyhill).

I hope you all had a fun Halloween! What was the best costume you spotted? We saw some pretty clever ones, like two Olympic kayakers who walked in their own cardboard kayak. But best of all was the dad decked out as Prince Charming with his sweet princess in her stroller. So sweet!
