A Cozy Fall Playlist

When I said later in my last post you knew that meant Tuesday, right? I don’t know. I got so hung up on this one blog challenge theme so I finally just decided to skip it…and the last four as well. I’m nothing if not a breaker of some rules.

My fall playlist is the topic today and I have much to say in terms of musicality and things. For instance, I find myself craving different artists, albums and the like during different times of the year. Fall is my favorite and it must be set to the perfect mix of tunes. I just can’t get into the fall mood with most of the current top 40, they just don’t fit (except “Shake It Off”, that’s just an instant dance party). I need coffee shop music. Music that makes me feel good, contemplative and sometimes, yes, a little sad. I just need music as smooth as that first cup of hot chocolate on a cold day, or that americano up there. The music must make me feel good and warm and cozy. It is getting cold out there, after all.

Anyway, perhaps I overthink these things. Correction, I always overthink these things, this is why I blog.

I can’t get enough of Shake it Off. At first I was embarrassed, then I decided to embrace T Swift.

  • No shame in the T Swift game. Glad you embraced her. ;) I kind of love her. I just can’t help but dance in my seat whenever that song comes on the radio.
