Gratitude was my word for September. I don’t choose a word each and every month, but that was the echo of my heart throughout this last one. Gratitude. August was rough and I know I’ve said it more than enough times (broken record, I know), so the relief of that September 1st was palpable.
My grandma made it through her surgery, my father-in-law made it through his and is thriving. I appreciate my family more than ever. I’m just really thankful for the answered prayers and, yes, even the unanswered ones. There is much to learn from both and boy, have I learned a lot this year.
I am thankful for so much right now I could just burst! I’m also very thankful for this blog and for all of you who read it. So, thank you.
