Happy Monday to you and you and you! And I’m not being sarcastic…crazy, right? I guess when you’re faced with some big hurdles and you make it to the other side, life seems that much sweeter. So thankful that my grandma is doing well and that I got to hold her hand last week. Also grateful that my father-in-law is doing great. We’re never promised that everything is going to work out okay, and everything worked out and they’re getting better everyday. As hard as last month was, so much good came from it to and I can see that now. My grandma and father-in-law are healing, my relationship with God has gotten so much stronger, we are eating cleaner/healthier than ever before and I feel better than I ever have. I am overwhelmed with gratitude and ready for a great week!
I got home Friday night after a few days in Florida and was reunited with Adam and the girls. I have to say that I am SO happy I made it back home to Ft.Lauderdale and even happier that I got to see so many people that I love in the course of 48 hours. Most of my family is there, so I saw as many of them as I could and also got to see Adam’s parents on our way back home. I also got some much-needed time with my momma. So good for my soul, I tell you! There’s absolutely nothing like family.
As great as last week was, it was also so good to be home and to get to sleep in my own bed. This weekend, Adam and I did whatever the heck we wanted to and it was just what we needed. I left the camera at home and just soaked up time with my favorite guy. We checked out a couple new breweries, spent some time with good friends, had some devotional time at our favorite coffee shop and watched some football.
Now, I’m ready to get back to my routine and back to work. I hope you all have a fantastic week!
