6 Simple Steps To Curing The Blues

Step 1 – Buy the truffle brownie mix from Trader Joe’s (or the gluten free mix, if medical reasons determine this is necessary). If you don’t live near a TJ’s, the Ghirardelli mix is a good substitute.

Step 2 – Before you leave Trader Joe’s, buy a $5 bottle of Shiraz that is surprisingly delicious.

Step 3 – When the blues hit, prepare the box of brownies…

Step 4 – …and pour a glass of wine.

Step 4 – Lick. The. Spoon. This is a must. This is your victory dance. You melted the butter and stirred that batter like a champ and this…this is your reward.

Step 5 – Bake the brownies, but don’t overbake them. You want them fully cooked and perfectly gooey.

Step 6 – Devour said brownies in between sips of a delicious glass of red wine. If you don’t drink, no problem! Milk, Diet Coke or a delicious mocktail will do the trick as well.

If you’re not feeling just a tiny bit better by the end of step six, please repeat. Or just eat more brownies.
