To-Do List: Sleepy Poet

posted on: Tuesday, May 6, 2014

When at an antique mall, grab something random and pose with it. All the cool kids are doing it these days, you know. Just be sure not to drop it when you realize that it’s a lot heavier than it looks as you’re picking up said item. That would be dangerous…and potentially expensive.

I must tell you, Sleepy Poet is one of my favorite places to spend an hour, snap some photos and browse. Adam even suggested it this time, so I think it’s growing on him as well. He’s not usually a fan of “just browsing”, so his suggestion of heading over there last Saturday afternoon made me really happy. I love taking my time browsing the goodies in each of the booths. Some of my favorite things include the stash of old records and photographs, I could just look through them for hours. It’s a great place to get lost and find some unexpected treasures.

If you are local and haven’t been, I suggest you get yourself there ASAP! Maybe even on a Saturday when they have a grilled cheese food truck and a cupcake truck hanging outside. Seriously. Don’t even think about the calories, you can walk them off while browsing.
