I wish I could say that I’ve been relaxing with family this whole time and was still on vacation to explain my lack of blogging, but sadly that’s not true. We’ve been back home since Saturday night and Monday morning I jumped onto a big project and quickly back to reality.

So, hello! I hope you all had a great weekend and, if you celebrated Thanksgiving last week, a wonderful one.

We had a really great Thanksgiving break, surrounded by family. As we drove up to the mountains and onto my parent’s property, the ground was covered in fresh, glittering snow. It was so magical, you guys! It really felt like Thanksgiving for the first time ever. I grew up in Fort Lauderdale, where having Thanksgivings in our backyard was completely normal and expected, so this was a welcomed change. How did you east coasters fare? I hope you didn’t have any travel troubles. Thankfully, the beautiful snow made up for our delayed trip.

It was my nephew Griffin’s first Thanksgiving. When he was born, I kept thinking about the holidays and how fun it was going to be having a brand new baby around. It was just as lovely as I’d hoped. He absolutely melts me, that kid. I may have said that every ten minutes, but he really does have such a sweet spirit about him. This probably explains why more than half of my favorite photos from the weekend include him. What? I couldn’t help myself.

Okay, now it’s your turn. Tell me all about your Thanksgiving.
