Yes, those are two of the few photos I managed to take this weekend.
I hope you all had a fantastic weekend. Ours was great and involved doing a whole lot of nothing and a little bit of some things. You know, one of those weekends. Adam had schoolwork to do on Saturday morning, so I got in a good work out and came home to relax for a few more hours before we headed out for some much-needed Winter shopping at Old Navy. Of course, I just had to try on that pleather jacket. I didn’t love how it fit me(I’m on the hunt for a good one), but it did make me realize that I missed out on playing the “bad girl” Sandy in Grease for Halloween this year. Just needed a good perm and super high-waisted, shiny black pants. Tell me about it, stud.
Sunday started with pumpkin spiced waffles and then our usual church service. I could hardly muster up energy to do much else however, I did get to see a good friend from Orlando, which was wonderful. The rest of the day? A Frasier marathon(we’re cable-less Netflix junkies), some football thrown in for good measure and a whole lot of pinning things I would like to do and wear without having to get up off the couch. The usual weekend festivities, you know. And now, it’s Monday.
I feel like Mondays should be approached with gentleness and care. We should ease into them, slowly and surely. Two short days of off-of-work bliss should not be abruptly ended by a Monday, but my request for permanent three-day weekends for everyone still hasn’t been approved by the big guys. Ah well, I tried. Still, I think we should take extra good care of ourselves on Mondays. Drink lots of water, get plenty of sleep Sunday night, cut ourselves some slack and listen to a playlist that puts us at ease in an otherwise stress-filled day. So, here you go my friends. Here is a playlist to listen to when you need some good music to attend to your ears. And with that, I wish you all a great Monday.
