Yes, let it be known that Adam actually, voluntarily picked up our nephew and held him. This moment needed to be documented. Blurry photo and all. Look at their faces! Melt my heart, why don’t ya?
This past weekend we headed to Virginia wine country. How was it, you ask? Well, I got some sweet baby nephew time, got to hang out with family, sip on some delicious Virginia wines and really relax. So to sum it all up, it was pretty wonderful. Friday night my father-in-law played at a winery and I may have even joined him to sing “Layla” by Eric Clapton. Singing in front of strangers is not the easiest thing for me, but I knew I had to force myself to push through the nerves when it’ll allow me to get more comfortable performing. There’s no easy roundabout way to get through it, I just have to get through it and after a while, I’ll get better and more comfortable. Thankfully, It went well and Adam took some video, so I’ll be posting that whenever he uploads it.
I didn’t take as many photos as I normally do since lugging around my camera in this heat and humidity (and the rainstorm we got caught in running into one of the wineries) wasn’t the most comfortable thing to do, but yay for phones and random snapshots. Right?
