So many pictures to share from Thanksgiving. At least, that’s what I thought until I realized about 100 of them are of my niece. I’m a little in love with her, you see. Here a few photos of our time in Orlando. We enjoyed an amazing feast, spent lots of time with family, had Christmas morning a month early and RELAXED. Thank heavens! I could have taken another week off, I tell you what. It was so lovely just to spend a few days not focusing on what needed to be “fixed” or figured out in life. Just time to enjoy family. Time to step back and realize how blessed we all really are because, you see, in the hustle and bustle of life I tend to miss those things. The little things, the big things, the truth that we have so much to be thankful for. Oh, so much to be thankful for! I soaked it right up and I miss it already. I miss them already. I am so very thankful for our families and for our lives. I wouldn’t change a thing. I really wouldn’t.

I was watching Dolly Parton on Good Morning America this morning and she said something that’ll stick with me for a while about wishing to change things in life or the ability to go back and change them, “You can’t think like that and I don’t. Sure there are things here and there you wonder if you could do them differently. But then, changing one thing could change everything.” My in-laws and I were talking about that this weekend. How one little choice can effect everything. Sure I can wish to change a few things or wish I was further along career-wise. If I went back and changed even one decision that I made, there’s a good chance I wouldn’t be here. Life could look completely different. I’m thankful for where I am. Every good and bad choice led me to where I am now and I can’t regret a thing about that. God has me on this journey and I can’t wait to see where He leads me. I am thankful for His guidance and thankful for all the love in my life. So much love!
