Tell us about lil’ Alice: I know my name isn’t Alice but there’s a great story behind the name, so be sure to hop over to my website to visit and read the whole story. lil’ alice is been nothing less than a blessing. I wanted to learn how to sew, I would look at things and think, that looks so easy. Having that desire to learn and social media such as Facebook is really how lil’ alice got started in March of 2010. I simply made an apron, posted it on Facebook and friends chimed in and said, “how much?”
After a hand full of orders, I wanted to label my products with a tag and a unique name. So I rattled my brain for something catchy & fun that was affiliated with me but didn’t scream my name either. That was when lil’ alice™ was born. In the Fall of 2011, I received my husbands blessing to take lil’ alice from a hobby to a business. This was truly an answer to many prayers that were prayed in my little sewing studio as I would stitch away on orders. By January 2012, lil’ alice™ became a business!

Tell us about Eternal Optimist: I’m a recent college graduate who’s franticly studying for the MCATs because I can’t bear to wait another minute not being a part of Doctors without Borders. After graduating I noticed that due to the lack of time I’ve “lost” all my hobbies. After contemplating for months I decided to start a lifestyle/fashion blog. I blog about a various range of topics from beauty DIYs to cooking to fashion. Since I’m on an endless quest to discover my personal style I also egoistically post blog about my daily outfits. I may not have style that elicits profound emotions or intrigues street photogs, but I dress for me and I’m okay with that. So if any of those topics interest you feel free to come stalk me over at my blog!
: Someone once told me that whatever you’re doing while you’re procrastinating is what you should be doing as your job. In that case, I should be either a professional blog reader and/or reality tv show obsessor. There are so many blogs out there that I enjoy from, fashion to strictly cooking. I love Ring My Bell
, Smitten Kitchen
, The Cherry Blossom Girl
, A Beautiful Mess
, The Rockstar Diaries
and of course, Katy’s blog! Just to name a couple (okay, seven).
Tell us about Tales of the Benedicts: I started my blog as a place where I could share my thoughts and feelings and to document our life. Some of my favorite things are hiking, photography, and spending time with my friends and family. A little over two years ago I married my soul mate and best friend. I truly cannot image life without him.
