Our wedding day.

I had recapped our wedding on my last blog and it exhausts me to think of doing it all again, but I will start sharing more pictures and stories of that wonderful day. The day I became the misses to my mister!

These pictures were taken right before our ceremony. I wanted to have a private moment with Adam (and our photographer) before the wedding so that he could see my dress and we could just have a few moments together before the craziness. Our last moment together before beginning our marriage. A first look. But, Adam wasn’t having any of that. He wanted to keep it super traditional and have his first sight of me be when I was walking down that aisle. So, we compromised. We bought a black silk eye mask and he was led into the room I was waiting in and we had a few moments to pray together. Just us and the photographer to capture that moment. It was wonderful and I’m so glad we had a few moments to breathe and pray together before the most important day of our lives.

  • such a wonderful, unique, special moment for the two of you! Adorable!

  • You are one quick commenter, lady! ;) It was wonderful. I liked that we had a unique moment together on that day and looking back, I’m glad we did it that way. Thank you, friend!

  • Ingrid Carney (Molliner)
  • Oh my gosh, you did! That’s amazing! Congratulations on your marriage, by the way. SO happy for you! :)

  • these pictures are beautiful, i love that adam was blindfolded!

  • What a wonderful way to start the best day of your life :) I think it’s really sweet that Adam wanted to keep it traditional. Cue “Awwwwwwww” :D Hehe

  • How sweet! I love the pictures :)

  • Wow, what a great idea! And your pictures are amazing :)

  • What a beautiful moment indeed! I did wonder what was going on at first because it looked more like an eye mask (where he could see), and I was like, “um…I don’t think she had a theme wedding…” Ha!
