{ With my mother-in-law. }

{ “Just a smidge to the right, honey!” I actually don’t know why my hand is like that. }

While in Orlando a couple weekends ago, we went to the Food & Wine Festival at Epcot. It’s my favorite event at Disney and I’ve gone almost every year since I moved to Orlando for college. I loved that we were able to come back and attend this year, even though we no longer live there. We went with my in-laws, Adam’s uncle and our friend Andrew. We had an amazing time and left with a free handful of Craisins and full bellies. I hope to be able to go every single year, and I think we just might be able to! Great weather, good food and family. Life is good!

Speaking of family and full bellies, can you believe tomorrow is Thanksgiving?! Seriously, this time of year goes by way too fast. Sloowwww down, holidays! I like you, I want you to stay around for a while. So relax, have some eggnog and enjoy the smell of pine trees with me. Christmas music can be awesome, really. We’ll be heading to the mountains for Thanksgiving with my side of the family this year and the weather promises to be nice and crisp, very different from warm Ft.Lauderdale Thanksgivings. Growing up we’d often set-up tables in the backyard and eat outside. I’ll take my cold holiday season, thank you!

Since I’m sure most of you will not be reading blogs, I’m taking the day off to watch the parade and enjoy time with my family.

Wishing you all a very happy and wonderful Thanksgiving!

  • A food & wine festival AT DISNEYLAND?! That has got to be the best combination of things ever. :) So fun!

    So glad to be on “staff” with you at RH! :)

  • YES! It’s at Disney World, the Epcot park, every October/November. It’s amaaaazing! They have booths from extra countries come in to serve a couple dishes and few selections of wine/beer/beverage. You get a card to put money on and just swipe it at each booth. It’s my favorite!!

    So glad to be a part of RH with you too!! Such an exciting project to be a part of. :)

  • Wow…that sounds awesome!! And whatever is in the fourth picture (creme brulee?) looks DELICIOUS!!

  • Bahaha you scored big time with the cranisins (sp)!

  • So jealous that you went to Epcot! I haven’t been since I was a kid and I have been dying to go back. Looks like you had a great time :)
