So, I’ve decided to try and add a bit more day-to-day posts around here. Not that my day-to-day life is very exciting. Some days are more exciting than others, that’s for sure. But I miss blogging those little moments that I tend to forget, so I thought I would write about it more. I used to do it a lot more when I wrote a food/healthy living blog, but that’s because I also used to post everything I ate which made it easier to tie the whole day into a post. I am definitely not going back to photographing my meals, but I really want to start collecting the big and the little stories of my life. That is the purpose of this blog, after all. I just need to get back into the habit.
As I’m building up my business, the days tend to be pretty low-key at the moment. I’m slowly approaching projects and hopefully will get the green light on some big ones pretty soon, so maybe that will add a little excitement to my life.
This week will be fairly busy, Adam is going out of town tomorrow and I’m going to the mountains to try and get a few more work projects on my list. Should be interesting since I’ve never driven to the mountains solo. Although, luckily, Adam’s made me drive those mountain roads before. They’re actually pretty fun, but would be SO much more fun if my car had any pick-up, alas she does not. I’m usually the slow poke, going uphill, while coaxing my car into reaching a faster speed.
It’s also Fashion Week here in Charlotte and some of us Charlotte bloggers have been lucky enough to receive media passes to a couple of the events. I’m excited to report back and get a feel for the experience of fashion week. I’m not a fashion blogger, but I do love fashion and have fun exploring and finding my style, so this should be a really fun experience. Now, the question is, what the heck am I going to wear?!
