Any day I can wear my Hunter’s is a good(rainy) day.
Nola and her brother, Trek. Trek is the one sitting. He’s a big boy!
When in beautiful scenery, with great lightning, have an impromptu photo shoot. What else is a girl to do? I promise, it was chilly enough by the time I took these pics to require a light jacket. I love mountain weather!
This weekend we headed to the mountains for my step-dad’s annual birthday bbq. We enjoyed food, drink and the company of great friends. I made sure to take some pictures in the midst of all of the fun. :) The BBQ was on their property, just like last year’s party only last year, the house was still being renovated and had no floors! It’s amazing what can be accomplished in a year. The house is now complete and just beautiful! This year we even ate off real tables instead of plywood. ;) I really loved getting to spend time with my sister and hopefully will get some more time with her very soon since she’ll be making the move to North Carolina, YAY! It’s so nice to know my immediate family is all going to be within 4 1/2 hours of each other. So much closer than the last few years! Now that we’re settled, spending more time with family is high on my list of priorities. So blessed and thankful.
Happy Wednesday friends, the week is half-over and I can feel the weekend approaching!
