Settle down now.

I’m going to be very quiet on the blog/twitter front today. The nerves are settling in real nice and I just need time to settle those butterflies down and relax.

I’ll be back tomorrow.

Until then, head on over to my guest post that I wrote for Heather‘s blog a few weeks ago and enjoy some of my favorite tunes.

See you later, friends. Wish me luck!

P.S. Thank you, thank you, thank you for all of your support, advice and encouragement. It’s helped me more than you know. I so appreciate it all, friends. Thank you again. :)

  • Good luck!!

  • i am oh so proud of you.
and oh so thankful for your sharing with THS.
and oh so pleased we are friends.

  • My fingers are crossed for a good audition!! :)

  • How fun! Auditions really aren’t that bad. I promise. I’ve been to a few. Don’t drink dairy before though or you’ll be all phlegmy. Sorry I know that’s gross, it’s just something my old voice teacher used to always remind me of. ;)

It’s my secret dream to one day sing again in a band like before. We’ll see how that goes.

  • Oh yeah, I learned from my first performance NO dairy. Although I didn’t think about it and had yogurt around lunch time. You should go for it, Becka! I always admired you and your voice. It was my secret dream too, well…until I made it not-so secret anymore. My audition didn’t go as well as I’d hoped. My nerves took over like crazy when I got up on the stage. The parts that didn’t shake were great, but I don’t know if that was enough. I felt calm most of the time and felt like it would go well, but I couldn’t calm myself down. Also, it’s a huge church and over 75 people were auditioning. Needless to say, I need ice cream.
