Nola Lately.

Thank you for all your encouraging words from yesterday’s post. I’m so glad I shared that with you all. I’m just hoping it goes well! Whether or not I get it, just feeling good about how the audition goes is all that matters. It’s not up to me after that. ;)

Here’s a little update on our little Nola bird.

{ She’s grown a few inches & pounds since those pictures. Crazy. }

She gained six pounds in less than three weeks. Baby girl is growing SO fast! She’s super adorable now, but I can’t wait to see what she’s going to look like as a big puppy. We’ve started training classes and they are going very well. I’m so happy with the trainer leading our class and I think she’s going to be such a well-behaved dog in the long run. That to us is worth the time and money invested. Right now? She’s just a crazy puppy and has her moments, but we certainly do love her very much. We just have to register her and once we do, she’ll be off to the dog parks. I’m a nervous momma about that one, but I want her to be able to run around and get some of that energy out!

P.S. I just added a “Stay In Touch” page for all the ways to keep up with me and contact me besides here on the blog. I’d love to hear from you!

  • I’m really happy that you’re posting more frequently! I love everything that you write :)

  • Thank you, Lauren. That’s the sweetest comment. I’m SO happy to be back to posting more frequently! I feel like I’m finally finding my true voice in the blogging world and I’m loving it more than ever. Thank you for making me feel that a silly little post about my puppy is worthy of a sweet comment like this one. :)

  • Ah, Nola is getting so big! Isn’t it amazing how fast our babies can grow? I cant’ believe Honey is over a year old now..though every once in a while, she gives a look that is just like when she was a kitten.

    And I like the idea of a stay in touch page! I’m sure you’ll be hearing from me sooooon! ;)

  • Aww, yes! Growing SO fast. What’s funny is playing with her extra skin. It’s like her body is just waiting to fill it. So funny. I always wonder how it’s okay for animals to grow so fast. ;)

  • Bah! Nola is ADORABLE!!! Happy absolutely *loves* the dog park! We take her there pretty much every weekend! I’m sure Nola will love it, too. Make sure to bring a towel for the carride home, though. It can be muddy!

  • Oh my gosh SO cute!
