Healthy Wedding Weekend.

A little over a week ago, my sweet and amazing friend Ashley married a wonderful guy named Richard.

The wedding was amazing. I really thought it was the most beautiful wedding I’d ever been too. Like I always say, I’m a sucker for mountains. Ashley looked stunning, absolutely stunning! She’s such a natural beauty and made a gorgeous bride.

The girls got to Asheville on Thursday and we didn’t waste time before exploring downtown Asheville. Our feet/legs hurt after so much walking but I just love Asheville. It’s such an interesting downtown that you can easily explore all day and they definitely have some of the best coffee(and salted caramel macarons. YUM!). Ashley took us to all of her favorite places there and just enjoyed some downtime before wedding craziness began.

We watched some old school YouTube videos back at the house we were staying. Schfifty-five anyone? Maybe a little Charlie and Candy mountain goodness? It’s the little things in life that amuse us.

When we saw the friendly horse come up to the back of the house, we headed out to say hello. Horse treats were included in our house, so we made friends with this one very quickly.

The next day, Friday, was the day for getting the littlest details finalized. Including some honeymoon sandal shopping at Target for Ashley.

That night was the rehearsal dinner and it was SO much fun! Ashley and Richard had a hotdog cart with the best vegetarian hotdogs ever. SO so good. I’m not a huge fan of the veggie dogs they sell in the store, but these were amazing.

With a venue like this, you can’t really take a bad picture.

The next day was wedding day. We started the day with yoga on the deck, led by one of Ashley’s coworkers, while we enjoyed the gorgeous view. It was the perfect way to start a crazy day. We all felt amazing and ready to be focused on the day ahead, there was lots to do!

The wedding was beautiful and sweet. None of us tripped and everything looked gorgeous. I was a bit busy being in the wedding, but here are some pictures from Caitlin and Megan. For a recap of the actual wedding, be sure to check out their recap posts! Ashley should be posting hers soon and I’ll link to it as soon as she does. Until then, here are some more pictures for you all.
