Hotel Cupcakes.

On our way to North Carolina, we stopped near Savannah so that we wouldn’t be faced with a 10 hour trip in one day. That long drive is exhausting and we wanted to be there for as much time as we could. It was Adam’s birthday so made sure we were prepared.

Yes, his mom made funfetti cupcakes and we brought them along for the journey. Along with a jar of frosting. The real stuff would have been much better, but we needed something that would travel well. I also brought a butter knife. Like the boy scouts say, always be prepared. This was a sugar emergency. In that we needed some……fast. You better believe I sung to him too. All that was missing were birthday candles.

Happy birthday one last time, sweet husband.

{ He was just whistling. I was just pretending. }

The next morning, we continued onto the mountains of North Carolina.

  • Aw, funfetti is secretly one of my favorites. :) But if you’re ever in Savannah again, you have to stop into the Gryphon Tea Room. They have some might tasty cupcakes. :)

  • SO FUN! Love the funfetti!

  • When I was a kid, I always requested Funfetti cupcakes for my birthday. Sometimes they just hit the spot!

    Happy Birthday to Adam! :)
