Beautiful night & a fundraiser.

Hello, hello!

Tonight has been wonderful. I’m back to working 1-3 days a week at my old job and today was my first day back. I came home, determined to get some sort of workout in and what I ended up with was 2 miles with the husband and a mile on my own. Three miles is more than I’ve run in a while and it felt great to get back out there again and push myself. Not to mention the gorgeous weather. So nice and cool with a breeze and the sun setting just added gorgeous color to the sky. Fantastic.

To make it so much better, Adam offered to make dinner tonight.

Lemon and rosemary chicken (using leftover ingredients), roasted veggies and some cous cous. SO. GOOD.

Now, sheets are in the dryer and will soon be clean and it’s going to be a great night of relaxing, which is much needed.

I just wanted to take a moment to let you all know that my sweet friend, Katie, is having a bake sale tomorrow and I’m offering up a goodie!

Okay, it’s not edible..

I recently made my ad widget and you can see it on the right side of my blog. I’m offering someone an ad widget or five blog buttons customized for them! If you’re interested in that or in one of any other amazing goodies(most of which are edible and drool worthy). Bidding is starting at $20 for every item.

Go check it out and bid tomorrow! Also, check out the reason why she is raising the money. Let’s get this girl to Nicaragua!

  • Thank you so much! Those were some beautiful roasted veggies. I just had to snap their photo. The leftovers aren’t as pretty but I’m sure they are going to be SO tasty for lunch today!

  • Oh my gosh, those are my new favorite combo. I love roasted brussels anyway, but add in the delicious couscous? Oh man, oh man! The plate is from Anthro. :) Go during a sale and you can pick up some beautiful dishes!
