Rewind to the first part of our vacation, if you’d like.

Here are the rest of the photos from our little post-Christmas vacation. Our first longer vacation since our honeymoon. We first went to Asheville where we explored the city and The Biltmore (where we are now card-carrying annual pass holders). Yes, we loved it that much.

We started our vacation with a trip to the Corner Kitchen. Which I highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend. It was amazing! The next day we enjoyed the Biltmore.

We finally found someone to take our picture..

The next day we headed to Charlotte. Before we could head into the city, we had to wash the mountain off of my car.

Salt and snow is a dirty combination. So we drove it on through the car wash and I had a little fun with my camera.

We got to our hotel and found that we had an excellent view of the stadium and a gorgeous sunset.

For those of you who don’t know, Adam and I are working on moving to Charlotte. No set date, but we’ll be up there in the next few months if everything works out! So while we were there, we took some time to see future Charlotte friends BrittneyDiana and Nicole over fro-yo.

Charlotte was definitely the more relaxed part of our vacation and I’m so thankful we had a couple days there. We then headed back up the mountain for one more night where we watched our alma mater win their first championship game, welcomed in the new year and built our very first snowman.

That was Christmas vacation. And it was good.

  • I love the Biltmore, so beautiful! Your pictures are lovely.

  • What a fun vacation! I’ve always wanted to go to the Biltmore. It looks goregous! That frozen yogurt looks so yummy! I wish there were more places to go for frozen yogurt where I live. All we have is TCBY.

  • Your pictures are amazing!! as usual!! What program do you use to edit them? What a FUN vacation! Jealous!

  • Thank you, Christine! I love the Biltmore too.

  • You should definitely go! It was incredible. I can’t wait to go back.

  • Aw, thanks Angie! I use Photoshop Elements.

  • Still sad I missed this because I wasn’t checking twitter that night. Isn’t Biltmore wonderful? Brad too me when we first started dating. I really hope you did the wine tasting. Biltmore wines are very good!

  • What gorgeous pictures! Thank you for sharing. :)
